About Us
Lauren Mosier the Owner and Founder started Tupelo Honey while working in corporate restaurant operations and craving a change of pace and a career utilizing her creativity and passion for design. She fell in love with weddings and flowers while planning her own wedding several years prior. Motivated by her young 18 month old daughter and finally having the courage to take the leap she started Tupelo Honey Flower Shop & Co. from the humblest of beginnings out of her garage in 2018 and began making bouquets and selling them at various farmers markets and pop-ups. It began as an idea for a flower truck and evolved into a weddings and events floral design studio. That year marked the first wedding from a mother of the bride at a farmers market and many years of freelancing for other notable Charleston wedding and event florists. In 2022 Tupelo Honey moved out of the garage studio into their current location and started the retail location as well. 2026 marked expanding into a separate studio workspace next to the retail shop. Since 2018 Tupelo Honey Flower Shop & Co. has designed over 250 weddings and events. They’ve traveled to New York, Tennessee, and Georgia, to complete destination events and editorials. They’ve been featured in many notable publications such as Style Me Pretty, Inside Weddings Magazine, and Charleston Weddings Magazine to name a few. Lauren lives in Charleston with her husband Derek who is heavily involved in the wedding & event operations and their daughter Grace. She graduated from The University of Georgia and originally is from Connecticut but South Carolina is home and has been a part of her life since childhood.

So, FYI - I’m super picky about vendors. There are amazing vendors who do phenomenal work, but if you don’t serve clients and other vendors well, I truly can’t vibe with it.
I love vendors who make clients instantly feel like they are the most important client they have. I love vendors that show up on wedding day hugging the bride and groom and you can see the excitement on their face. I love vendors who treat other vendors well - they communicate clearly, they are so incredibly kind, and they are genuinely happy to see you and work with you.
Lauren exudes all of these things and more. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on editorials and now with a wedding client, and I can’t say enough about her energy and how she makes people feel. You will 100% not regret letting her style the blooms on your day! -

Prettiest flowers I’ve ever seen!
From the first time I spoke to Lauren, I knew she was perfect. She was nothing short of wonderful, even making recommendations of dress shops since we planned our wedding in 4 months. Every one at our wedding gushed over the flowers and they photographed beautifully. She included a large variety of seasonal blooms and a gorgeous color palette! There is not a single thing except WOW when it comes to Lauren. If you are looking for romantic and beautiful flowers for your wedding or other events, look no farther. I could not imagine any one except Lauren nailing the look of our wedding and perfectly coordinating with our venue. She is the best!!!
